Open to all – won by one. The Red Bull Mobile Esports Open Season 3 (M.E.O.) is about to start in its third year! Players from more than 20 countries are eligible to compete in three different mobile disciplines. This season will see the addition of new regions to the concept as well. The first National Qualifiers start in May. Additional International Online Qualifiers will be hosted throughout the Season. Winners of these qualifiers will represent their country at the World Finals in Turkey, Q1 2021. There, the best players will engage in an ultimate battle for the crown.
Red Bull M.E.O. Season 2 ended with a blast: more than 15,000 mobile esports players participated in the National Qualifiers, peaking in the World Finals. The dust of the previous brawl has barely settled and Red Bull already opens the gates for the upcoming season. New challenges and titles lie ahead.
A wide range of mobile games is offered in Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3. Two new games will make their first appearance: tactical tournament PUBG MOBILE by Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation as well as the exciting auto-battler Teamfight Tactics Mobile from Riot Games. After its successful debut last season, Blizzard’s strategy card game Hearthstone returns to the tournament.
PUBG MOBILE is one of the most popular mobile games in the world. Blizzard Entertainment is considered one of the biggest game developers and publishers across the globe, featuring top titles such as Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and StarCraft. Riot Games has been one of the leading publishers in esports for several years with its flagship title League of Legends.
Red Bull also welcomes tournamentcenter for Red Bull M.E.O. Season 3. The Belgian tournament organizer joins as official partner and arranges the online qualifiers. The company specializes in organizing gaming tournaments, especially for card games.
