BobCAD-FreeCAD provides a variety of 2D geometry tools such as points, lines, arcs, splines, offsets and parallel lines. Shape libraries for wireframe shapes such as rectangles, gears, cams, and hole patterns make the design process much easier and faster.

With a new 3D modelling feature, users can define and automatically create holes, countersunk holes, or combination holes using point locations and user input. Intuitive tools for designing and editing sophisticated surface and volume models enable the solution of even the most complex design requirements.

The CAD design tree structure shows the progress of the model creation process and allows you to return to any step in the design process to make changes to the design. Comprehensive dimensioning and text functions, trimming and rounding off 2D and 3D geometries, Boolean functions for 2D and 3D geometries, sophisticated layer management and powerful analysis functions complete the range of functions.
