DRAM modules from Innodisk
The Wide Temperature DRAM modules are designed for applications in harsh environments. The SDRAM components are coated with gold to ensure quality even in the extended temperature range of -40°C to +80°C. In an anti-sulfuration process, all DDR4 modules are covered with a sulfur resistant material to ensure smooth operation even in harsh environments. The so-called side-fill technology improves the reliability of the module and extends the service life of the product when operated under strong tremors or strong thermal cycles. Resin is applied to 3 sides of the DRAM-IC in order to strengthen the BGA and PCB connection, so that 1.5 times the mechanical stress can be tolerated.
The entire product range includes registered DIMMs for use in servers and IoT with capacities from 2GB to 64GB and speeds from 1333MT/s to 3200MT/s. Mini DIMMs for use in servers are available in capacities from 2GB to 16GB and speeds from 1600MT/s to 2400MT/s. A load reduced DIMM1 variant and a very low-profile series with capacities from 1GB to 32GB are also available. The Mounting Rugged SODIMM series with capacities of 4GB, 8GB and 16GB was developed for use in harsh and rugged environments. There is also a series available specifically for the extended temperature range as well as an ECC series and a non-ECC series.
The proprietary iRAM stress test software integrates a large number of test patterns and system levels to ensure that the quality and reliability of the modules are defected and issue free. The test time can be reduced by half and the test stringency increased by 150 to 200 percent.
Innodisk addresses four different vertical markets in the DRAM sector. The server market segment includes networking/5G, high-performance computing as well as cloud and edge computing. The vertical AIoT market includes manufacturing, kiosk/retail systems, robotics/AI as well as automation technology. The products in the ruggedized market segment include Smart In-Vehicle, outdoor signage, aerospace, and energy. In the industrial market segment, Innodisk addresses the healthcare, gaming, surveillance, and construction sectors.

Innodisk’s DRAMs are specially developed for embedded and server applications and offer a complete turnkey solution. Customer-specific adjustments are possible at any time. The lifetime warranty for industrial DRAM modules includes examination, repair, and all replacement parts. The modules have a pair of mounting holes, 10 mm apart, for more secure mounting on the CPU board. They are therefore shock and vibration resistant for stable system operations. A special coating offers protection against moisture, contaminants, dust, and acidic or alkaline materials.
