Global automaker relies on KUKA’s technology know-how: Major order in body-in-white construction
In the first quarter of 2021, KUKA received an order from a global automaker for the engineering and construction as well as the assembly and commission-ing of the "Net Form and Pierce" joining and pierce riveting technology for ve-hicle production.

KUKA’s patented "Net Form and Pierce" method, or also known as the "Best-Fit" process, is a highly precise and efficient method for accurately identifying and positioning mounting features on the body’s exterior trim.
