Klingspor’s first all-purpose cutting blade

There are situations that simply leave no time for a tool change. Whether you are out on a rescue call or engaged in extensive construction or demolition work: A diamond cutting blade that can be used for cutting nearly all types of material adds flexibility and helps save time. Starting in the spring of 2021, Klingspor will be introducing the first “all-purpose cutting blade” in their line of diamond tools: the cutting blade DT 900 ACR.

With the DT 900 ACR, Klingspor is offering their customers another product highlight in the diamond tool portfolio. “Dealers report great demand for diamond cutting blades that are suitable for universal use. Users in need of a so-called “rescue” blade wish to buy the product from a manufacturer they can trust. We are that manufacturer. After all, Klingspor is a supplier that users can expect to deliver products which satisfy the highest standards in terms of quality and safety”, claims Oleg Bergheim, product manager for diamond cutting blades at Klingspor, explaining the reasons why the company is venturing into this product segment.

“All Cut Rescue” – suitable for nearly any type of material

The DT 900 ACR is designed to cut off a wide variety of different materials: It effortlessly slices through concrete, steel, power cables, reinforcement rods, wood, rubber, bitumen, glass-reinforced plastic, PVC pipes, and many more – and, better yet, can do so in wet and dry cutting applications. During use, the blade runs with extreme smoothness, stays cool and keeps its aggressiveness even after a large number of cuts. Ideally suited for use with petrol-powered cutters and easier-to-handle angle grinders, the DT 900 ACR covers an enormous range of possible applications. The new all-rounder cutting blade engineered by Klingspor comes in diameters of 115, 125, 230, 300, and 350 mm. Naturally, the product is oSa-certified and meets the safety standards for which Klingspor is known and held in high regard.

10mm coating – for a long service life

The DT 900 ACR is distinguished by its unique manufacturing process: The diamond “segments” are vacuum-soldered. This lets the diamonds be arranged freely on the steel core, resulting in a considerably improved cutting performance. The elaborate manufacturing process is responsible for a exceptionally stable connection between steel core and diamond, giving rise to a positive effect on service life. With a thickness of 10mm, the coating on the DT 900 ACR is more substantial than on competing products and provides for extended service life.
