Manthey-Racing becomes Manthey – a new brand identity for the prestigious company
Manthey-Racing was founded in 1996 by Olaf Manthey. The managing directors of the company are the brothers Martin and Nicolas Raeder. Porsche AG owns a 51 percent share in the prestigious company, which has around 200 employees and is based in Meuspath near the Nürburgring.
“With this new brand identity, we are aiming to continue our successful philosophy of total commitment, but, at the same time, to highlight our versatility. The new logo consists of a stylised letter ‘M’ and the ‘Manthey’ wordmark, which has been completely redesigned. The corporate colours remain black, red and white. Other elements, and in particular the word ‘Racing’, are no longer used. By simplifying our identity, we are ensuring that all our business activities are given the same prominence. But motorsport will remain a permanent part of our corporate DNA,” emphasises Martin Raeder, managing director of Manthey-Racing GmbH.
The Manthey brand DNA has also been clearly defined. Flexibility, directness, precision and commitment are values that we will put into practice in our dealings with our customers and partners.
“With the brand relaunch, we are looking forward to starting another exciting chapter in our company history. Over the last few years, our business has grown and developed dramatically and our new brand identity takes this into account. The aim of the new logo is to put even greater emphasis on what has characterised our business for some time. Who we are and what we stand for will not be changing,” adds Nicolas Raeder, managing director of Manthey-Racing GmbH.
Manthey is one of world’s leading Porsche race teams and specialises in GT models. The company’s portfolio also includes engineering solutions and development services for motorsport customers plus driving experiences and motorsport events. The company, which is based in Meuspath on the Nürburgring, is managed by the brothers Martin and Nicolas Raeder and is 51% owned by Porsche AG. Its main motorsport successes include six overall victories in the Nürburgring 24 Hours and the world championship title in the FIA WEC Super Season 2018/2019.
