Time travels: B3 meets the past and the future
Scott’s collection, textfiles.com, is one of the most extensive libraries of digital documents from the early days of the Internet. The site stores and categorizes tens of thousands of text files, mostly from the 1980s. It also includes files that are even older. Topics range from anarchy, art, carding, computers, drugs, ezines, freemasonry, games, hacking, phreaking, politics, piracy, and sex all the way to UFOs. So it’s not just Johannes Grenzfurthner, host of the May 27 edition of “B3 in-depth“, who is posing the question: Do we really need to save it all?
But before that, Dutch FashionTech designer Anouk Wipprecht is our guest on May 13. She creates technological couture and combines fashion design with A.I., sensors and robotics. Her creations emit twinkles and sounds, they visualize and interact with their environment (www.anoukwipprecht.nl)).
B3 in depth
In our new Youtube show airing every two weeks on Thursday, B3 interviews representatives from various creative and cultural industries about their experiences, dreams and aspirations during these troubled times. The series is presented by Austrian film artist Johannes Grenzfurthner. The WebVideoCast "B3 in depth" will run until October. From 15 to 24 October 2021, the 2021 edition of B3 will once more provide a platform for innovation, dialogue and visibility for all film, art and media professionals.
