Thomas Creuzberger Becomes new CEO of European Market Leader in Healthcare Logistics
- Integration of Movianto into French Walden Group is completed
- Walden-Chairman and owner Stephane Baudry steps back from his executive position at Movianto Group and hands over the lead to longstanding experts in healthcare logistics

Thomas Creuzberger (59) has been appointed new CEO of Movianto Group. As part of the French Walden Group since June 2020 Movianto is market leader for healthcare logistics combined service offerings in Europe. “One year after taking over Movianto from the US company Owens & Minor my task of integrating Movianto into the Walden Group is completed”, says Stephane Baudry. The owner and Chairman of Walden went into the interim role as acting CEO of Movianto with the takeover of the company. “Now it’s time to handover the lead to longstanding managers from within the company. The expectation is that Movianto develops new services, brings its services to more European countries and grows profitably.”
Creuzberger is working in health logistics for more than 30 years. He started with Movianto right from the founding of the company in 1996 (branded in 2006). With an educational background in logistics and business administration at the US-DOD Logistics Management College, Virginia and the Air University – Institute of Technology, Ohio, he previously gained experience at the US Department of Defense operating logistic services in Europe and Middle East, at the pharma wholesalers Sanacorp, Celesio and pre-wholesaler Sanalog. Before taking responsibilty as CEO Creuzberger has been Vice President Europe North in Movianto.
His tasks as Managing Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region) have already been given to Dennis Spamer (38) earlier this year. Spamer has more than 17 years of experience in healthcare transport and logistics in Germany and Switzerland and is working for Movianto as Commercial Director Europe North since 2015.
The Movianto Group operates own logistic sites in eleven European countries, employs some 3,600 staff and had a turnover of more than 485 million Euros in 2020. Like all companies in Walden Group Movianto focuses on services for the healthcare industry offering warehousing, transport, digital solutions, production and other services.
