Now the BMW specialists at Wunderlich are adding another attribute to these two promising characteristics mentioned above: that is the comfort of long-distance riding! The Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT seat for the BMW S 1000 XR incorporates all the features Wunderlich has developed in the field of ergonomic seating on the motorbike. The result is convincing: the developers have shaped the seat shell, especially the lateral guide, so that it supports perfectly – but does not pinch on long distances. It ensures a secure hold in all dynamic riding conditions, when cornering, accelerating, braking and offers a relaxed seating position that is equally characterised by riding activity and comfort.

The 3D shape of the progressively constructed seat core developed by Wunderlich, as well as the cover material and its processing, in which the seat cover and the seat core are combined over the entire surface, play an essential role here.

Of course, the AKTIVKOMFORT seat has all the features you would expect from this high-quality Wunderlich seat made in Germany: it has a waterproof finish, the cover material has anti-slip properties and is equipped with elaborate piping made of Alcantara. Particularly noteworthy is the ThermoPro coating, which ensures a pleasant reduction in the heating of the cover material in summer in the blazing sun.

A 20 mm higher version will follow soon
In addition to the seat described above, Wunderlich will also offer a 20 mm higher version for the BMW S 1000 XR in September. A lowered, deep version is not feasible for technical reasons, because the padding would have to be too thin, the company said in this context.
