Bond-Domains: My Name is Bond…
James Bond was a famous American ornithologist. His name inspired Ian Fleming to the creation of 007.
If your name is e.g. Susan Bond, you may get now a domain name like susan.bond, which is reflecting 1:1 your name at the web.
If you register a Bond-Domain, you may also get a corresponding e-mail address:
e.g. contact@susan.bond
The children of Susan Bond could use e-mail addresses like:
Thomas@susan.bond, evelyn@susan.bond
You may also get free subdomains like:
work.susan.bond
hobbies.susan.bond
thomas.susan.bond
evelyn.susan.bond
The relationship between better ranking and the new top-level domains was proved by a study of Searchmetrics for .berlin domains. Websites with .berlin domains frequently place better than websites with .de domains and .com domains in regional searches with Google. The result of the study by Searchmetrics can be summarized as follows:
"42% of searches show that .berlin domains rank better locally ."
The study of total sites in Houston shows that the results by Searchmetrics can be generalized to all new top level domains, including the Bond-Domain: It was proved that Google uses the domain endings of the New Top Level Domains as a key element for the assessment of domains. Total sites draws as a conclusion:
"It is clear that the new top-level domains improve the ranking in search engines. "
The Bond-Domain will create more trust towards your website because of the high technical standards. And confidence is the root of all business. A website with a short, memorable .Bond domain will have a lasting competitive advantage.
You should not be worried to use more than one domain. It is easy to forward your existing URL or domain to your new Bond-Domain. And vice versa.
You may have had the opportunity to watch traditional fishermen while on vacation. They don’t just cast one net, but several. Because they know: more nets bring more fish. Follow the example of the fishermen: more domains bring more traffic and therefore more sales.
The Bond-Domain is expensive compared to a com-Domain. Some thousand .bond users will finance a domain name system comparable to that of .com, not 140 Million users like at .com.
We suggest dividing the costs within the family between the users of the e-mail addresses and sub-domains in order to solve the problem.
