RECENTLY NEW: Remote signatures with DIGISign
Until now, the required signatures were obtained directly on site on a signotec signature pad. Since November 2021, it is now also possible to obtain so-called "remote signatures" via DIGISign. In this case, the document is shared with signatories who are not present on site, but who can sign the document at any time and from any location. This is done in four simple steps:
Step 1: Select document
The document is selected in the DMS as usual and the area for the signature is set.
Step 2: Select contact and send
The desired contact can be selected directly from the client’s master data or an email address can be entered manually. The invitation to sign is sent to the contact by e-mail.
Step 3: Monitor the status of the signatures
In DIGISign, you can view the status of the individual documents released for remote signature at any time.
Step 4: File revised
After all the required signatures have been executed, the document is stored in the DMS as a revision of the original document.
The new function is provided via the web-based application "signoSign/Universal" from signotec. The signature can take place either in the browser via signature pad or on any smartphone or tablet. DIGISign continues to fully support all DATEV filing systems (DATEV DMS Classic, DATEV DMS and the DATEV digital document filing system). Documents can be individually selected for signature. Access to contacts stored in DATEV also makes it very easy to send documents based on the data stored in the system. The monitoring of the status as well as the return as a revision to the DMS takes place directly from DIGISign without complications.
Of course, signotec’s high security standards continue to have priority in connection with this online solution. Every signature executed in this way is an ISO- and eIDAS-compliant advanced electronic signature, which can therefore be clearly assigned to the signatory. In addition, as before, corresponding revisions to the documents are automatically filed in all compatible DATEV filing systems.
