The future is now
Mostly, visions of the future aim at sustainability and resource conservation, defeating hunger and disease, and simply a better world. It would be nice if bacteria and algae could produce climate-neutral fuel, or if we could better harness solar energy, or if food could be planted in space. Today, many economies and governments are working toward a more climate-friendly world, and the move away from fossil fuels is being eagerly pursued. This is increasingly being achieved through the spread of electromobility. This makes use of raw materials such as cobalt, silver and lithium for energy storage. Lithium-ion batteries are and will continue to be the means of choice for a long time to come.
Companies that can provide the necessary supply of the coveted lithium, such as Alpha Lithium, are in the spotlight. Alpha Lithium owns some 27,000 hectares of land in the Lithium Triangle in Argentina. Great opportunities lie in the Tolillar Salar project there, as it has hardly been explored yet.
As far as ensuring adequate food security for the world’s population is concerned, there are various approaches. Food systems around the world need to be optimized or changed so that the future of food is sustainable and secure. If nothing else, Covid-19 has highlighted the vulnerability of our food (hoarding purchases, labor shortages, food insecurity). One aspect of sustainable food systems is preservation.
This is where EnWave – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKhndWB3VVc – comes in. The company cannot only preserve food with its proprietary and patented vacuum microwave technology (REV™ technology) but is also active in the medical device and cannabis product sectors. With 49 licenses, 14 new ones in the last fiscal year alone, the company has important partners and is visibly establishing itself in the important nutrition sector.
