• Extended Reporting Details

  Finding messages referencing additional model elements now include footnotes with link details when model links are not resolvable (e.g. in xlsx or PDF reports).
  Report details are consolidated among report formats, adding the architectural metrics table to html and PDF reports, and parameter configuration details to xlsx reports.

• Additional Guidelines

  New guidelines are added focusing on implicit data type conversions, saturation settings of Integrator blocks, and layouts in Stateflow.

MES Test Manager (MTest) v.7.8

• Better Support for AUTOSAR Models

If an Embedded Coder model is identified as an AUTOSAR model, its model settings are transferred directly to the testbed.

• Test Case Generation for Complex Requirements

Test case generation (TCG) from requirements, where the condition combines multiple AND and OR conditions in parentheses, is now supported. This improves the robustness of the TCG especially for extensive and complex requirements.

MES Model & Refactor (MoRe) v.3.0

• Automatic Port Numbering during Action

  Actions that affect signals and their ports now also automatically reorder and number ports in reference to optimal readability and layout. This reduces the need for manual reworking.

• Adjust Blocks to Sources

  This new layout action adjusts the position and height of blocks in relation to their source ports. It complements the “Adjust Blocks to Destinations” action as its counterpart. The action can be applied to individual blocks or to an entire area of a subsystem to improve the overall layout.

MES Quality Commander (MQC) v.6.0

• Multiple Quality Models

It is now possible to configure the overall quality model out of multiple smaller ones, e.g. when each data source is defined in its own quality model. MQC provides initial quality models for each data source that can be applied e.g. when a data source is not defined in another overall quality model.

• Faster File Import and Data Transformations

The file import now only loads new data, while improvements in the internal data flow and memory consumptions lead to significantly shorter data transformation and calculation times. The adapter framework has been modified to reduce complexity and reacts faster now as well.
