WEROCK presents the logistics mobile computer Scoria M240
At the heart of the Scoria M240 is a high-end barcode scanner with a standard range for use in order picking, parcel deliveries, stocktaking, etc. It can scan all common 1D and 2D barcodes – even in damaged and poorly legible states and even from an angle of up to 60°. An Aiming LED and a clearly delineated scan field simplify the scanning tasks. The 13-megapixel camera also enables the capture of images and documents, for example those of damages, conditions of equipment etc.
With its compact dimensions and a depth of 20 mm, the mobile computer fits conveniently in a trouser pocket or corresponding logistics holster, and can be operated comfortably with one hand. A large numeric keypad with 26 keys allows users to easily enter numbers and texts as well as control functions.
The device is powered by a 2 GHz eight-core processor and has 4 GB of RAM. WEROCK has chosen Android 11 as the operating system for Scoria M240, which can be supplied with Google Mobile Services (GMS) if it is required. For indoor use, the device is equipped with Wi-Fi 5, while LTE 4G is available for outdoor use. The Scoria M240 offers Bluetooth 5, NFC and space for two SIM cards, so that for example the increased connectivity with different networks can be realized. Scoria M240 is not only suitable as a data collection device, but also functions as a normal phone. It offers VoLTE for high voice quality on mobile networks and VoWiFi ensures outstanding voice quality over the WLAN network.
The Scoria M240 Handheld is a rugged industrial computer designed for harsh working environments. The product has been certified in accordance with IP 65 and MIL-STD-810G. This means it can withstand a range of tough environmental conditions, such as rain, snow, falling (from a height of 1.2 meters), shocks, vibrations, oscillations and many more. The computer remains operational even in extreme temperatures.
The battery is particularly well equipped. The Scoria M240 has a removable battery with over 17 Wh, which offers well over 12 hours of runtime depending on use. Charging can be completed quickly via USB-C or an optional charging station.
