Fire protection highlight moves into next round: All information on FeuerTrutz 2022 at a glance

More than 200 exhibitors are expected in Nuremberg for FeuerTrutz on 29-30 June 2022, with an international contingent accounting for 14% of the total, from 14 different countries. The International Trade Fair with Congress for Preventive Fire Protection will thus once again be the meeting place a sector highlight for the fire protection community. For the first time, the event will take place in the new Exhibition Halls 4 and 4A and the state-of-the-art Conference Centre NCC Ost at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg, with the added bonus of digital matchmaking. In addition to an extensive market overview of active, passive and organizational fire protection, visitors can look forward to a highly varied, informative supporting programme offering a wealth of experiences. The Fire Protection Congress, organized by FeuerTrutz Network GmbH, will take place in parallel and offer experts an opportunity to share knowledge. One key focal point will be on working with established buildings.

“We are more than satisfied with the super developments at an exhibitor level, including the international participation,” says Stefan Dittrich, Director FeuerTrutz, NürnbergMesse. “There is clearly no limit to the need in the sector to be able to touch products and test them, gather in person and establish personal contacts, and this need may be even stronger than in previous years. We are also very pleased with the positive feedback and the lively participation in our supporting programme, which is as extensive as usual.” This year’s event gives fire protection designers, certified experts, architects and building engineers, staff of agencies and fire protection services and fire safety officers the opportunity to learn about innovative products and solutions for fire prevention and containment from more than 200 companies, both local and international. The broad-based supporting programme at FeuerTrutz focuses on a mix of knowledge-sharing, live experiences and education, in addition to funding for new professionals and young companies. The highlights include the two exhibitor forums, the Training & Career Meeting Point, the Job Board, the “Innovation@FeuerTrutz” pavilion, the Fire Prevention EXPERIENCE, and in the evening “FeuerTrutz After Work”. There will still be a feature from the digital version that proved its value, too: an online matchmaking tool that brings visitors and exhibitors together to network based on their personal fields of interest.

Professional knowledge and fascinating discussions: The exhibitor forums

The two exhibitor forums, right at the heart of the trade fair action, offer pure added value. This is where exhibitors have the floor for the two days of the event, introducing their innovations and solutions in fascinating presentations and discussing the latest trends with the public. The forum in Hall 4 on the second day of the Fair is entirely devoted to the subject of BIM solutions in preventive fire protection. Visitors experience advances in BIM from the perspective of various companies, and gain insights into tried and tested products and practical examples. Five fascinating presentations by the WAGNER Group, Siemens AG, Wildeboer Bauteile GmbH, TÜV Rheinland AG and STÖBICH Group are on the programme.

Education, professional development, new talents: Countering the shortage of skilled workers

FeuerTrutz makes an active contribution to the key theme of dealing with the shortage of skilled workers in a number of ways. For those looking for a new challenge or for qualified employees with industry experience, the FeuerTrutz Job Board is the place to go, both online and on-site (Hall 4, Stand 4-427). Situations vacant and “jobs wanted” advertisements posted here will therefore reach a wide and receptive audience. The Training & Career Meeting Point is where visitors with an interest in this field can discover a host of prominent training providers and learn about various options for training and professional development. Start-ups and young companies receive sponsorship to participate in FeuerTrutz and, at the “Innovation@FeuerTrutz” pavilion; they will get the opportunity to present their product innovations to the industry professionals, prove their power of innovation, and gain a foothold in the industry.

Unique experiences at and following the trade fair: Live presentations and evening event

FeuerTrutz is known for its spectacular live presentations that illustrate products in action under realistic conditions. The Fire Protection EXPERIENCE is a combination of indoor presentations at trade fair stands and the outdoor Fire Protection presentation area, and offers the opportunity to experience fire protection first-hand and up close. The STÖBICH Group, for example, demonstrates the performance of state-of-the-art fire-proof textiles and how passable smoke barriers function in smoke-filled escape routes. Fire Eater A/S shows how a fire can be put out using Inergen, and TÜV Rheinland AG will present its fire protection simulator. Relaxed networking and good food are on the menu in the evening at “FeuerTrutz After Work”. The Max Morlock Stadium, close to the exhibition venue, will become the setting for After Work, with a delicious grill buffet and cocktail bar at the home ground of 1 FC Nürnberg.
