Silver pastes for highest printing demands

• ROTOVARIO 501 023 and ROTOVARIO 501 033 convince with silky surfaces plus strong hiding power

Intense, structureless metallic effects, silky surfaces, and good hiding power – that is the upshot of the two new silver pastes by ECKART. ROTOVARIO 501 023 and ROTOVARIO 501 033 are based on extremely small Cornflake pigments. With their excellent ink transfer the pastes are specially designed for applications characterized by fine lettering, detailed design, and smooth surfaces.

The fascinating product innovation is the result of the ECKART’s elaborate lab know-how. It succeeded in stabilizing the fine pigments with special additives in ethyl acetate (with 6µm and 9µm their particle size lies below the traditional particle size of 10 µm). Accordingly, the pigment pastes are suited to solvent-based solutions in gravure and flexo printing. Thanks to their excellent printing results they can also be processed at high speeds, for example in label printing, flexible packaging, or shrink sleeve applications.

ROTOVARIO 501 023 offers a rather dark metallic effect, while ROTOVARIO 501 033 impresses with its bright appearance.
