Thanks to the new Deep collection, the RAUVISIO crystal glass laminate is opening up fresh interior design possibilities. The colour scheme offers designers around the world unique opportunities to design furniture and interiors, as well as reinventing plain surfaces by adding an exciting and vibrant component. Drawing inspiration from the bottomless depths of the ocean, the collection brings furniture to life. Depending on the light hitting the surface, the beauty of the deep gloss comes into its own, immersing the room in a unique mood. Whether aiming for a strident contrast or discreet elegance in combination with other surfaces, RAUVISIO crystal Deep blends harmoniously into the general scheme. The timeless collection comprises seven eye-catching decors. These decors combine superbly with each other, with other REHAU collections and even with natural materials like wood or stone.

Design matching for seamless furnishings

The idea of design matching, which runs through all of REHAU’s work on collections, is consistently applied to all product launches. The Deep collection is therefore supplemented by suitable tambour door systems and edgebands with a view to design and material matching. In the area of tambour door cabinets, RAUVOLET crystal-line is taking the RAUVISIO crystal look to the next level – for a fully uniform frontage when closed. As sales start, the entire RAUVISIO crystal Deep collection is also available as a storage space solution in the form of RAUVOLET crystal-line (from a minimum order quantity of one). Another element in the matching collection is the edgeband. More than 50 years ago, REHAU developed RAUKANTEX, a solution that made the company a trusted partner to the furniture industry. With its zero joints, RAUKANTEX pro turns surfaces and edgebands into seamlessly integrated components in both looks and functionality. RAUKANTEX is available for all colours and formats of RAUVISIO crystal Deep – for a harmonious and uniform look complete with captivating depth effects.

Advantages in processing and usage

Also known as ‘the glass for the carpenter’, RAUVISIO crystal combines the classically versatile look of glass with the outstanding properties of glass laminate in both processing and use. The RAUVISIO crystal Deep collection can also be processed using conventional carpentry tools, which spells absolute freedom of expression for interior designers. In everyday situations, the material impresses users with its high durability: as well as being easy to clean, it is extremely resistant to breakage and scratches.

From July 2022, the decors in the new RAUVISIO crystal Deep collection will be available as large pressed boards in 2,800 x 1,300 x 19 mm format, and as thin glass panels in 2,800 x 1,300 x 4.0 mm format.

The RAUVISIO crystal range continues to expand

In the future, the Pure collection will contain timeless and purely plain decors, while the Strong collection will feature vibrantly natural decors.
