World’s largest store for deployment-ready software packages goes live

Raynet, global software vendor with market-leading solutions and managed service provider in the field of Enterprise Software Management, announces the launch of the world’s largest software Package Store with more than 10,000 packages.

Client and portfolio managers, software packagers, and Chief Security Officers alike all want quick and easy access to the latest software versions, application updates, and patches to keep their software portfolio up to date and eliminate security gaps whenever they show up.

With the launch of the world’s largest software Package Store, Raynet is also launching a new era for software provisioning. Companies will now be able to manage their software portfolio holistically and professionally. They can create software packages quickly and without additional effort while also tailoring them to business needs and IT requirements.  The software packages are based on intelligent technologies developed with Raynet’s years of experience in software packaging. True to the vision, “packaging for everyone”, the Package Store does not require any in-depth packaging know-how.

Software packages can be created with just a click and can be configured through simple checkboxes where necessary. The packages use universal formats so that they are compatible with all standard deployment solutions such as Raynet, Microsoft (MECM and Intune), Matrix42, Ivanti and many more. The packages can be used even if you move to a new deployment solution. Documentation for each package, covering all standard and customized settings, is also generated automatically.

“We continue to face increasing challenges, including scarce resources, and growing demands as well as cost and time pressures. With our Package Store, we’re putting an end to these challenges. Our customers profit from an intuitive solution with immediately deployable, preconfigured, easily customizable, and fully compatible, quality-controlled software packages” said Ragip Aydin, CEO of Raynet.
