Innovative solutions for acoustic measuring, testing and monitoring tasks – Microtech Gefell at SENSOR+TEST 2023

It’s that time again – MTG is taking on the growing challenges of innovative technologies and products in the field of technical acoustics at the leading trade fair for sensor and measurement technology.

The show is a magnet for a wide range of visitors including engineers, technicians, researchers and executives from various industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics and many others.

At Sensor+Test 2023, trade visitors can expect to see the latest developments in sensor and measurement technology.

Furthermore, there will also be the opportunity to attend technical presentations, workshops and other events that offer insights into the latest developments and future trends in this field.

Overall, Sensor+Test 2023 is an important event for everyone involved in the sensor, measurement, and testing industry, providing a valuable opportunity to network, learn, and stay up to date on the latest innovations in the field.

After the successful relaunch of SENSOR+TEST 2022 with 371 exhibitors and around 4500 visitors and congress participants, the trade fair will also contribute to the success of an intensive innovation dialogue in 2023.

With an 86-year tradition in research, development and manufacturing of acoustic measurement technology, MTG will therefore participate with a wide range of future-oriented high-end measurement solutions.

This year’s highlights include further developed indoor and outdoor measurement microphones, digital preamplifiers, sound intensity probes, capsules and calibrators.

Optimised sensors and measurement microphones and acoustic systems will be presented.

For example, the new M 380 measurement microphone for multichannel applications, the weatherproof WME 980 CN / WME 980 AM microphone units for permanent outdoor noise monitoring and stationary or mobile aircraft noise monitoring, or the MMS 214 measurement preamplifier for measurements at extremely low sound pressure levels and with particularly low inherent noise, as well as the MMS 212 measurement microphone that can withstand extreme environmental conditions.

Brand new in this context is a digital version of the WME 980 AM based on the MV 240 digital.

The new acoustic high-end calibrators from Gefell and the DAkkS calibration services in accordance with the latest global standard DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 are also enjoying growing demand.

This also applies to turnkey indoor and outdoor test benches for the automotive sector , as well as the current sound intensity probes SIS 194 3D 1/2", SIS 194 3D 1/4" and the new sound intensity probe SIS 190 double.

Optimised was the new sound power hemisphere SLH – for measurements according to ISO 3744 and ISO 3745 for various applications in R&D, product sound design and consumer protection.

Following the increasing importance of alternative energy generation, MTG continues to be present with complete measurement systems for sound measurements on wind turbines / WTG.
