Low-Code Manifesto published – Scopeland played a significant role
Embargo for Manifesto: Until 6th March 2023
Scopeland, as a member of the Low-Code Association, played a leading role in the development of the Low-Code Manifesto. Together with the seven other founding members of the Low-Code Association and with the participation of the Fraunhofer FOKUS research institute, 14 theses were developed that are forward-looking for the further development and use of Low-Code.
Scopeland incorporated its experience from working with federal and state authorities into the manifesto. The manifesto explains what Low-Code is, what Low-Code can achieve, and what this means for the IT of companies and administrations. Scopeland’s CEO and Chairman of the Low-Code Association, Karsten Noack, sees the publication of the manifesto as a milestone for the Low-Code movement: "It becomes clear that Low-Code is much more than just a toolset. The statements in the manifesto also relate to the role of those involved in software development, project management questions, and even to the societal implications that the Low-Code movement brings with it."
Low-Code is particularly suitable for complex, individual applications and limited budgets to quickly and flexibly respond to constantly changing requirements. This makes Low-Code particularly interesting for public administration. With innovative Low-Code applications, Scopeland is driving digitalization in various projects in the public sector. And this has been the case for many years, even before the term ‚Low-Code‘ existed. Therefore, the publication of the Low-Code Manifesto is an important step for Scopeland in spreading modern Low-Code technologies.
