Where you find the largest silver reserves
In third place is a country that produces very little silver, Poland. Only 1,300 tons of silver comprised silver production in 2022. But the reserves are high. Other countries with large silver reserves include Russia, Mexico, Australia, Chile and the USA. Also worth a look are the global stockpiles. In the 1950s, these stood at around ten billion ounces of silver. In the meantime, these stocks have been reduced step by step. According to estimates, global inventories today amount to around one billion ounces of silver, i.e. significantly less. Whatever the future price development, silver is an important industrial raw material and an investment good that ensures value retention. Companies with silver in their projects include Vizsla Silver – https://www.commodity-tv.com/play/mining-newsflash-with-vizsla-silver-torq-resources-first-tin-sibanye-stillwater-and-mawson-gold/ – or Sierra Madre Gold and Silver. Sierra Madre Gold and Silver has two high-grade gold and silver projects in Mexico. With the planned acquisition of a third silver and gold mine, also in Mexico, the company will further upgrade its portfolio. Also in Mexico, Vizsla Silver is taking care of its main Panuco project. Excellent drill results are available (up to a good 7,500 grams of silver equivalent per ton of rock).
