camLine Launches Cornerstone 8
The most significant improvement in Cornerstone 8 comes with a renewed Design of Experiment (DoE) module and an improved graphical interface, enabling all data stored in Cornerstone datasets to be fully integrated with the new DoE module.
It is now possible for an increased detailed response specification and more general constraints for D-optimal designs in Cornerstone.
Moreover, the whole DoE process can be automated by Cornerstone’s Extension Language (CEL).
Additional new functionalities include the creation of Empty Matrix Graphs for graph templates, resizing of Graphs, exporting Selected Objects as Workmap, as well as a drag and drop feature for reading datasets from ASCII sources and within variable selection dialogs.
“Cornerstone stands out from other data analytic software because of its unique architecture as the application was designed from the ground up by expert statisticians, making the concept extremely compact and efficient,” said the product manager, Alessandra Corvonato.
She added, “Statisticians drive this new release in discussion with industrial customers. The application can be used across many disciplines and industries including research and development, quality assurance, and education.”
