Small turbine handpieces for top-level requirements
The TK-94 L microturbine is the smallest turbine handpiece in the W&H range. With a diameter of just 9 mm and head height of 17.2 mm, including mounted 16 mm bur, it ensures safe and efficient treatment in the smallest spaces. “As a dentist who treats patients, the main benefits of the TK-94 L are the ergonomics and functionality resulting from its slim design”, explains Salzburg-based paediatric dentist Dr Dinah Fräßle-Fuchs.
Small head, high-quality features
When it comes to features, the TK-94 L can easily keep up with W&H’s larger dental turbines. The 5× spray constantly cools the bur tip in every application position, while the innovative LED technology perfectly illuminates the treatment site. Despite the smaller turbine head, the integrated Power Blade Rotor boasts an impressive 14 Watts of power and thus provides remarkable torque. The precision instrument is also equipped with the patented W&H hygienic head system. The circulating air in the turbine head prevents aerosol particles from being sucked in as the rotor runs down.
Sustainability through quality
Even after numerous sterilization cycles, the ScratchBlocker coating of the Synea Vision turbine handpiece doesn’t show any signs of wear, an indication that the W&H microturbine also impresses when it comes to easy maintenance. A high-quality ceramic ball bearing is integrated into the turbine head. All in all, the W&H turbine handpieces are robust, long-lasting, and reliable quality products with high-value retention.
Stress-free and gentle treatments
Patients benefit from precise, safe, and gentle treatment thanks to the microturbine’s light weight and non-slip profile. The ceramic ball bearing ensures dentists can work quietly and without vibration, which is particularly advantageous when treating children or elderly patients.
“I don’t want my patients to be nervous or in pain during treatment. I consider the TK-94 L to be ideal for paediatric dentistry – it simply unbeatable when it comes to carrying out treatment in hard-to-reach places or if patients cannot open their mouths that wide”, says Dr Dinah Fräßle-Fuchs when discussing the benefits of the W&H microturbine.
