EcoG opens office in the US in 2023
US Consul Timothy Liston visits German based E-Mobility Start-Up EcoG as it takes the big leap across the pond.
EcoG takes the big leap across the pond in the course of its strategic expansion with the opening of the EcoG US office later this year – a special moment as EcoG started in Detroit, Michigan: "The U.S. charging market sees a significant acceleration of demand, not only because of the recently announced massive investment plan of the U.S. government, but also simply because EV models and volumes have been growing significantly. EcoG sees a win-win by supporting EV charger manufacturers in the US to enter the market with low lead time, reliable technology, cost efficiency of a market leader and to scale production fast. The goal is to increase availability and reliability of infrastructure for sustainable mobility fast. This is where we are convinced we can help the U.S. market players with our technology. " – Joerg Heuer, CEO of EcoG.
EcoG won the Select USA Pitch competition and joins the Investment Summit in Washington DC
The relevance of EcoG’s technology for the U.S. market has also been recognized by the U.S. government-led program “Select US Investment Summit”. EcoG won the regional Select USA Pitch competition and joins the Select USA Investment summit beginning of May to present its technology and the resulting opportunities for companies active in the U.S. and form valuable relationships with US representatives as EcoG settles down in Detroit.

Being a technological enabler behind so many DC charging stations which are already in the field, we have become an authority in DC charging technology”, states Joerg Heuer, CEO of EcoG, “With our recent investment, we want to accelerate our growth and increase our contribution to a fast rollout of reliable and smart charging infrastructure.”
What EcoG does in a nutshell:
We make DC charging easy! EcoG | OS is the software operating system and IoT platform for EV charging stations, the “Android” for EV chargers. EcoG | OS is everything in software, embedded in hardware control components, needed to develop and run a DC charger.
The team of EcoG has been driving standardization and innovation in the e-mobility space since 2008. They started to develop a solution to tackle one of the biggest challenges of the e-mobility industry: how to build future-proof DC chargers quickly and efficiently.
