OpenStorage AG presents Qualstar Q40 tape library with 640 slots and 28.8 PB capacity
15 expansion modules to create of a single library system with up to 28.8 PB storage capacity in a single 48 U of rack space. The Q40 uses a single robot to service all drives and media, maximizing cost effectiveness.
There are no additional license fees for installing new drives in an existing library. 21 artitions are possible.
The user control panel uses an intuitive GUI and incorporates wizards, making the system easy to configure and use. The Q40 may also be accessed remotely via the integrated browser based remote management interface (RMI). This enables IT administrators to remotely configure, Manage, diagnose and service the library from anywhere in the world via the Internet.
Qualstar delivers a tape storage solution that addresses long-term data management challenges and an air-gapped solution against the existential threat of ransomware.
