Perfect form and function: At Fontana Infinity, PASCHAL formwork solutions are fit for a king

This ambitious project consists of two majestic towers – Tower A with 45 floors and Tower B with 46 floors – on a total built-up area of around 125,350 m².

Within the space separating the two towers is a tropical oasis with green gardens, a “lazy river” and an artificial beach, as well as Bahrain’s largest recreational swimming pool.

Kooheji Contractors, a long-time PASCHAL partner and one of the country’s leading project developers, took on the central role as main contractor in the implementation of this prestigious project.

Unbeatable formwork

To achieve the in-situ concrete structures, Kooheji Contractors once again relied on PASCHAL’s outstanding formwork solutions. PASCHAL’s formwork systems set the standard for successful construction projects in terms of speed, precision and cost-effectiveness.

In both towers, the lift cores, stairwells, shear walls and columns were formed with around 600 m² of modular/GE universal formwork and as a NeoR extension. This formwork system proved to allow extremely flexible implementation, especially in combination with other products

PASCHAL climbing brackets were used to form the external walls. 2,000 m² of PASCHAL Deck slab formwork were used for the concrete slabs of both towers.
