• Michael Perschke will take over as Managing Director of the ROQIT joint venture
• Reorganization in time for QUANTRON’s next development stage
• The first QHM FCEV heavy-duty fuel cell trucks will be delivered to customers in 2024
As part of the further development of Quantron AG’s business model, there will be changes to meet the new challenges, in particular in the area of digitalization.
Within the management structure at Quantron AG, Andreas Haller took over the role of CEO from Michael Perschke, effective January 1st. Michael Perschke, who together with the two founders of Quantron AG, Mr. Andreas Haller and Mr. Herbert Robel, has continued to build up Quantron AG over the past 2 1/2 years, resigned from his position on the Management Board of Quantron AG on 31.12.2023 and handed over his role as CEO to Andreas Haller. He will remain associated with Quantron AG as a shareholder.
Michael Perschke will assume the role of a Managing Director at ROQIT – an IT and Mobility-as-a-Service company and joint venture between QUANTRON and Goldstone Technologies from India – and will help shape the development of the digital platform for sustainable transportation with hydrogen and fuel cell technology. The digital platform provides the software-based foundation for the innovative Quantron-as-a-Service business model, which offers customers climate-friendly transportation in a risk-free pay-per-use model.
The Supervisory Board would like to thank Michael Perschke for the development work and the successful conclusion of the A round, the internationalization and the development of Quantron AG into an OEM with international production sites, which was achieved under his leadership. In the dynamically developing market of zero-emission commercial vehicles, the development of a digital solution will be one of the most important tasks that Michael Perschke will focus on.
Klaus Schmitt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Quantron AG, expressed his thanks to Michael Perschke for his past work as CEO and announced that Andreas Haller will take over the management role at Quantron AG with a special focus on the successful completion of the B round with immediate effect.
Andreas Haller, CEO and Founder of Quantron AG, said: "I would like to thank Michael Perschke as my partner for the past 2 1/2 years and especially for the international positioning. This decision will not result in any changes for our customers, partners or stakeholders; business will continue as before. I look forward to being more active in the management again and establishing QUANTRON as a tech champion in a rapidly developing market for zero-emission transportation solutions. We want to ring in 2024 under the motto ‚Time to Deliver‘, as we will be putting our 44 t QHM FCEV fuel cell truck into customer hands and onto the road. We are proud to be one of the first companies in the world to offer a zero-emission truck as a series product in the heavy-duty class. I would like to thank Michael Perschke for his work and the important impetus he has provided, and I look forward to working with Michael Perschke in his new role."
Michael Perschke, future Managing Director of the ROQIT platform: "The last three years since I joined as an investor and later CEO of Quantron have been extremely dynamic and we have achieved many milestones together. The task of building a global player in the Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) sector with ROQIT is very exciting for me as an entrepreneur and I look forward to implementing this with partners and investors such as Quantron AG and Goldstone Technologies."
