Farasis and FAW form strategic partnership to collaborate on commercial vehicle applications

On March 1, Farasis Energy and FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd., a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, held a signing ceremony in Changchun, Jilin Province (China) to cooperate on commercial vehicle applications. Ji Yizhi, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of FAW Jiefang, Pei Guoquan, General Manager and Secretary of the Party Committee of the New Energy Division, Chen Binbo, General Manager of Farasis Energy, and other relevant leaders attended the event.

“FAW Jiefang will fully support Farasis Energy with its rich experience in vehicle integration, manufacturing and market channels to provide strong support for the cooperation project”, Ji Yizhi stated at the signing ceremony. Both companies will collaborate closely on commercial vehicle semi-solid-state and solid-state battery projects for light, medium and heavy vehicle platforms, and specific scenarios such as long-haul transportation, urban logistics, and municipal engineering. The goal of this cooperation is to create new energy vehicle products that are more competitive in the market and leading in industry technology.

The intention to cooperate with FAW Jiefang is to further endorse the strength of both parties in becoming leading commercial vehicle companies. This is conducive to Farasis Energy’s further expansion of market space, increase market share, and accelerate the application of semi-solid-state and solid-state batteries in the field of commercial vehicle electrification. Both companies will jointly contribute to global green commuting and sustainable development.
