A new bull series to mark the 20th anniversary of the artist Frank Krüger’s business

THE BEGINNINGS

Frank Krüger was born in Berlin in 1962 and even as a child he created extraordinary works in oil on canvas. As the son of a technical draughtswoman, he was practically born with a sense of detail, perspective and colour harmony. His first painting was sold when he was just twelve years old.

OFF TO THE SOUTH

After leaving school and training as an animal keeper at Berlin Zoo, years of artistic self-discovery followed. in 1992, after successful exhibitions in Berlin and on Mallorca, Frank Krüger finally decided to move the centre of his life to this beautiful island and devote himself exclusively to art.

CALA RATJADA – PALMA – BERLIN – ARTÀ

Since 2007, the artist has been working and selling his works in the "Galeria Frank Krüger" on the harbour promenade of Cala Ratjada. When he looks up from his easel, he has a view of the azure blue sea and the swaying fishing boats in the harbour.

Since 2010, his works can also be found in the second "Galeria Frank Krüger" in the heart of the island’s capital Palma de Mallorca. Here, alternating works and other internationally sought-after artists are presented in an exclusive setting covering over 500 square metres.

The next big step followed in 2016 with the opening of the third "Galeria Frank Krüger" in Berlin-Mitte at the Gendarmenmarkt.

Frank Krüger opened his fourth gallery in Artà on 13 April 2020 in a virtual form, as the coronavirus meant that it was not possible to open to the public.

Since December 2023, the "Galeria Frank Krüger" has been located in the pedestrian zone not far from Artá’s market square. Colourful art awaits visitors on three floors plus three outdoor terraces.

His wife and muse Laura Hahne has always been at his side since 2004 and has actively supported the artist in many ways ever since. "She is my muse and is extremely important in my life, because without her I wouldn’t be where I am today," the artist emphasises.
