innovaphone PBX with myApps Receives DNV System Approval

Richard Olsson from innovaphone accompanied the extensive DNV certification process to test the resilience of communications systems by conducting, e.g., vibration tests, damp-heat tests, tests regarding the minimum distance to the compass and much more.  As Area Sales Manager, Olsson is responsible for the Scandinavian region and thus for many of innovaphone’s maritime installations. In Olsson’s view, the DNV system certification represents an important strategic milestone for business development: “The certification enables us to further expand our presence on the maritime market and tap into new markets – for example, cruise ships, where our applications for the hotel sector can also be ideally utilized.” The open myApps ecosystem allows existing apps to be expanded with customized apps, meaning that tailor-made maritime solutions can also be offered.
