Doosan Lentjes focusses on stress prevention: health day helps employees deal with stress
Focus on stress management
The day began with a keynote speech on the topic of "Stress? It’s a topic", which dealt with the phenomenon of stress, its effects on the body and mind and strategies for recognising stress signals early on and dealing with them effectively. This laid the foundation for a successful day centred around the topic of stress prevention.
Practical workshops for relaxation and resilience
In two workshops entitled "Mindful Mastery: Relaxation and self-care for a balanced life", participants were able to familiarise themselves with mindfulness techniques, perception training and body scans. In addition, another presentation, "Resources against stress", offered in-depth insights into resilience and stress management.
Cardio stress test: a look at individual stress levels
A special highlight of the Health Day was the cardio stress test. With the help of a high-resolution ECG device, the heart rate variability of the participants was measured to determine their individual stress levels. The results provided employees with a good basis for personal coaching and practical tips on how to integrate stress management techniques into their everyday working lives.
Healthy catering and advice from Techniker Krankenkasse
In addition to workshops and presentations, the Health Day offered healthy catering with smoothies, fruit salad, raw food and power bars. TK was also available for individual counselling sessions throughout the day.
A successful day for health
"Our Health Day was a great success and gave our employees valuable ideas on how to deal with stress and relaxation techniques," summarises Stefan Vassilikos, Head of QHSE and responsible for health management at Doosan Lentjes. "We look forward to further initiatives to promote the health and well-being of our employees in the long term."
