Philipp Stolzenburg becomes Director Sales & Proposals at Doosan Lentjes

Doosan Lentjes, a leading provider of environmental technologies, has appointed Philipp Stolzenburg as its new Director Sales & Proposals with effect from 1st of September 2024. Stolzenburg succeeds Gerhard Lohe, who has held various management positions at Doosan Lentjes for more than 20 years and will continue to support the company in a consulting function in the future.

Philipp Stolzenburg can look back on a long career in international plant engineering, during which he was Managing Director of the Asian business of a company specialised in technical plants. Further positions took the qualified engineer into the cement industry, where he worked as a Senior Sales Manager and eventually took on the role of Head of Thermal Applications. For the last five and a half years, he worked as Senior Sales Manager at Doosan Lentjes and focused on thermal waste treatment. In all of these positions, Philipp Stolzenburg was able to gain extensive expertise in the development and marketing of complex technical solutions, which he will now utilise in his new role.

"We are delighted to have gained Philipp Stolzenburg as Director Sales & Proposals, who not only knows our company and our products very well, but also the demanding markets and customers," says Dirk Stokvis, CEO of Doosan Lentjes. "His main task will be to further strengthen and expand our market position in the field of thermal waste and sewage sludge treatment. In doing so, he will ensure that Doosan Lentjes remains a leading player in our industry. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Gerhard Lohe for the fruitful collaboration over the last years. At the same time, I look forward to continuing the trusting cooperation with Mr Stolzenburg, whom I wish every success in his new role."

Philipp Stolzenburg, who in his new position will be responsible for product management and marketing in addition to sales and proposals, is very positive about his new challenge: "I am taking over a division with 17 dedicated employees, with whom I will work together to secure our order intake in the long term. To this end, we will expand strategic partnerships in international plant engineering, particularly with EPCs. We will also work continuously to further develop and optimise our products and services with regard to both economic and ecological aspects. The aim is to increase our competitiveness and continue to offer our customers customised and innovative solutions for their projects in the future. I am particularly grateful that Gerhard Lohe, with his more than 30 years of experience in our industry, is available to ensure a smooth handover of the division."
