The future is now: STILL presents smart intralogistics solutions for today’s challenges
It is not only in the future that companies will face major challenges when it comes to fast, efficient, resilient and economical internal material flows. Even today, the demands on intralogistics are complex, competitive pressures are high and global competition for skilled labour is tying up valuable resources. "Companies need solutions that are available today – fast, uncomplicated and reliable," explains Dr Florian Heydenreich, Managing Director of STILL. "In addition to compatibility with existing systems and processes, it is all about the right fit. Our customers want a partner who understands their needs and products that meet them exactly, making their work easier, more efficient and safer."
Customer requirements are as diverse and individual as the companies themselves. STILL strikes a balance between perfect fit and high availability with a differentiated portfolio, scalable solutions based on standardised components and a wide range of customisation options. Exactly what this looks like in practice will be demonstrated by the intralogistics specialist at this year’s LogiMAT.
An important part of the customer-oriented portfolio are the two truck portfolios with which STILL is responding to increasingly differentiated customer requirements: the Classic Line, represented at LogiMAT by the RCE 15-20, among others, and the Xcellence Line, represented at the trade fair by the RX 20, among others. As a result, the Hamburg-based company has exactly the right truck for every requirement.
Smart from the start: STILL’s automation portfolio
Visitors to LogiMAT will also gain exciting insights into the entire spectrum of automation with the scalable STILL iGo software. STILL will demonstrate different applications in two live scenarios: Visitors can see for themselves how easy and intuitive it is to implement individual automated trucks with iGo easy using the example of the AXV iGo automated high lift pallet truck. Those who are more interested in the orchestration of comprehensive, complex automation projects will find a fully automated material flow synchronised with iGo systems in the second action area: Here, stationary solutions such as STILL’s flexible iGo cube pallet shuttle warehouse work in tune with series-produced trucks such as the new FM-X iGo automated reach truck and the EXV iGo high lift pallet truck. "With our smart software, our standardised and series-produced trucks and our consulting and service expertise, we can implement automation projects of any size. We work in partnership with our customers – from the very first steps of automation to the implementation and maintenance of fully automated warehouse environments," emphasises Dr. Florian Heydenreich. "For companies, this means maximum flexibility and an automation solution that grows with their needs."
Customised service and fleet management solutions
Visitors to the trade fair will also be able to gain an insight into STILL’s modular service concept using the example of the ‚Full Service Smart‘ package, which allows customers to flexibly define a service agreement tailored to their individual needs. This ensures that they receive exactly the services they need – without having to pay for anything that does not meet their requirements.
Another focus of the exhibition will be on innovative software products for smart fleet management. For the first time, STILL will present the new self-service application ‚STILL Smart Portal‘, which enables customers to manage and optimise their fleets at any time and from anywhere. The new portal is part of a modular fleet management portfolio where all levels of support are available, from self-service to full service. During the trade fair, STILL specialists will demonstrate the new customer portal with all its functions, intuitive operation and flexible configuration options in individual live presentations at stand B 40 & 41 in hall 10.
STILL is a leading provider of intralogistics solutions. Its portfolio includes forklift trucks, warehouse technology, connected systems and services. Among the key attributes of the company, which was founded in 1920 by Hans Still, are customer specific, best-fit solutions with an excellent service. It is STILL’s aim to make intralogistics ’smart‘: to develop intelligent solutions that make warehouse operations smoother and more efficient, that better protect the health of the people who work there and at the same time meet the highest sustainability standards. To this end, STILL is pushing new solutions for e-mobility, automation, fleet and energy management, as well as circularity, i.e. the consistent conservation and recycling of resources. With corporate headquarters in Hamburg, STILL employs 9,000 people in 22 countries and is part of the publicly listed KION Group AG.
