FlexxTower: Quick and safe one-person scaffolding

Hall: 3 Stand-Nr.: 3C15

Reach working heights of over nine meters in record time – all by yourself and more safely than ever before? It’s possible – with the FlexxTower models from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik. The scaffolding from the quality manufacturer from Bavaria can be assembled and dismantled by just one person without tools, but also offers enough space for two people on its work platform. Thanks to their added occupational safety, the FlexxTower variants SG and SGX with system-integrated advanced side protection have been included in the BG Bau occupational safety program. Top: The staircase kit is also supported by BG Bau. It makes the FlexxTower suitable for use on stairs and equips it for use in stairwells, for example. Further advantages in practice: The scaffolding is very light and is characterized by its compact dimensions. A transport trolley can also be built from just a few individual parts. Further information and product video at www.munk-group.com/flexxtower. The new SGX version of the FlexxTower has three levels instead of two. This allows users to reach working heights of up to 9.55 meters – and in a particularly ergonomic way, as the FlexxTower SGX is equipped with the Ergo platform as standard.

“With our FlexxTower, the name says it all: whether in construction, trade or industry, the one-person scaffold now allows individuals to work flexibly and completely independently of others in high places – without having to compromise on work safety. With the FlexxTower, we offer the user real added value in terms of handling and safety. This once again underlines our claim to be an innovation and technology leader,” says Ferdinand Munk, owner and Managing Director of the Munk Group.

Good for handling: the new Ergo platform

All users who use the FlexxTower from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik with the new Ergo platform have a special handling advantage. This is made of a composite material and is therefore up to 40 % lighter than conventional rolling scaffold platforms.

FlexxTower is assembled in no time at all

The FlexxTower has a platform height of 4.10 meters, allowing working heights of up to around 6.10 meters to be achieved. The new FlexxTower SGX has three levels instead of two, allowing users to reach working heights of up to 9.55 meters. For lower workplaces, the scaffolding can also be flexibly assembled at lower heights. The FlexxTower complies with all applicable regulations and conforms to DIN EN 1004.

The SG and SGX versions of the FlexxTower ensure maximum work safety: both are equipped with a leading safety railing and can be easily assembled and dismantled by one person. The FlexxTower variants SG and SGX have been included in the occupational health and safety bonus program of the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association of the Construction Industry (BG BAU). This means that users can receive subsidies when purchasing single-person scaffolding from Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik: The BG BAU will cover up to 50 percent of the purchase costs, up to a maximum of 1,500 Euros.

During assembly, the handy and lightweight individual aluminum components are each hooked onto extendable suspension brackets on the platform (1.20 x 0.60 meters, SGX: 1.80 x 0.60 meters) and can thus be easily and simply moved from level to level. Quick-release fasteners and scaffolding claws enable fast and efficient assembly without tools.

The FlexxTower’s telescopic triangular outriggers, which are equipped with swivel feet, ensure maximum stability. They are infinitely adjustable on the frame tubes of the scaffolding. Uneven surfaces can also be leveled out using height-adjustable castors.

As a proven entry-level model, the FlexxTower with basic equipment also offers standard-compliant work safety. It is installed using the 3-T method (Through The Trapdoor means “sitting in the access hatch”) so that the user is always in the fall-protected area thanks to pre-assembled double guardrails.

Fixed stair access with stair kit

With the stair kit, which is also supported by BG Bau, the FlexxTower also becomes an all-rounder in stairwells and on landings and can be set up quickly and easily for this use thanks to the extension set.

Door-accessible transport trolley possible

In addition to top work safety, the scaffolding is also characterized in practice by its low weight and compact dimensions, which also make handling in the warehouse, during transport and on the construction site much easier. A transport trolley can be built from just a few individual parts without tools, in which the remaining scaffolding parts or other materials can be transported quickly and, above all, ergonomically. The FlexxTower not only fits through all standard doors, but can also be transported in many commercial vehicles.

As with all its products, Munk Günzburger Steigtechnik makes no compromises when it comes to the quality of the single-person scaffolding. “With the FlexxTower, we also do justice to the certified proof of origin ‚Made in Germany‘ and, as with all other products from our series range, we offer a 15-year guarantee,” emphasizes Ferdinand Munk.
