GROB-NET4Industry: Focus on digital tool data and traceability
"With GROB-NET4Industry, we are setting new standards in industrial digitalization," explains Benedikt Gundling, Product Manager Digital Products. "Our software solutions make it possible to intelligently link process and tool data, analyze quality fluctuations in a targeted manner and thus make production processes more efficient."
GROB4PartFlow: Traceability at a new level
A central highlight of the trade fair is the presentation of the new GROB4PartFlow part tracking system. This system enables the unique serialization of parts, allowing process and production data to be assigned to an individual part. "Increasing requirements due to new regulations and customer-specific specifications are making the traceability of components essential in more and more industries," explains Benedikt Gundling. The need for consistent data availability is growing, especially in modern, fully automated production systems that not only perform value-adding processes but also tasks such as quality control. "One of the biggest challenges in digitizing these systems is defining standardized interfaces between different machine manufacturers at and ensuring data quality," adds Gundling. GROB4PartFlow offers a cross-manufacturer and cross-process solution that stores and visualizes production parameters and makes them available for analysis.
The advantages of GROB4PartFlow at a glance:
• Complete traceability: The respective process data is assigned to a specific component. • Optimized production processes: Quality fluctuations can be detected at an early stage and causes can be better identified. • Holistic digitalization: All machines and systems in an automation system are centrally networked. • Clear visualization: Historical and current production data are available at any time.
Optimized tool management thanks to intelligent data analysis
In addition to traceability, another focus is on the optimization of tool processes. In a special presentation, GROB will show how tools can be optimally managed with the help of intelligent data analysis. "Thanks to our powerful connectivity solutions, process data from all systems within a production line can be recorded and analyzed centrally," explains Benedikt Gundling. This enables, for example, predictive tool ordering based on the actual service life of tools, which minimizes idle states and reduces costs. GROB also shows which process parameters can provide valuable indications of quality fluctuations and how companies can use this data to take countermeasures at an early stage.
Experience the future of manufacturing live
The in-house exhibition not only offers visitors exclusive insights into the latest developments from GROB-NET4Industry, but also the opportunity to experience the digital solutions in action. "Our technologies take industrial production to a new level – networked, transparent and future-oriented," summarizes Benedikt Gundling.
GROB invites all interested parties to see the possibilities of digital manufacturing for themselves at the in-house exhibition. From live demonstrations and daily specialist presentations to discussions with the experts.
