Jens Pfitzinger new Managing Director and Labor Director at IAV

“I am delighted that we have been able to recruit an outstanding candidate for IAV in Jens Pfitzinger,” said Dr. Nikolai Ardey, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IAV. “He has recently positioned Volkswagen in China excellently in HR, IT and organizational issues and established it as one of the absolute top employers in the China region.”

Jens Pfitzinger was Executive Vice President responsible for HR and IT at Volkswagen Group China in Beijing and previously held top management positions in the areas of HR and organization in the Volkswagen Group. Jens Pfitzinger has a son and studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt.

Dr. Uwe Horn has been with IAV since January 2020. He previously held various management positions at Volkswagen AG.

From September 1, 2024, the management of IAV GmbH will thus consist of the three managing directors Jörg Astalosch (CEO), Martin Mahlke (CFO) and Jens Pfitzinger (CHRO, Labor Director).
