Intralogistics Software Specialists Join Forces: SYNAOS and NODE Robotics Partnership Offers Customers “New Possibilities”

.
• Software first: SYNAOS, provider of a central fleet management software for mobile robots, and NODE Robotics, a leading provider of scalable and hardwareagnostic software solutions for mobile robot OEMs, announce their collaboration.
• Joint end customers benefit from new levels of flexibility in their intralogistics processes and transport operations.
• Further SYNAOS onboardings of robots equipped with NODE software are already planned.

The partner network of Hannover-based intralogistics software company SYNAOS continues to expand. With NODE Robotics, a leading provider of software for mobile robots serving numerous well-known robot OEMs, another innovative company joins the SYNAOS partner ecosystem.

In a current end-customer project in the automotive sector, the SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform is already orchestrating mobile robots of the "F" model series from Sherpa Mobile Robotics, which are equipped with NODE software, based on the VDA 5050 standard. Prior to the project, the Sherpa Model F successfully completed SYNAOS’ nine-stage VDA 5050 onboarding process.

“Our newly launched collaboration with NODE Robotics marks a significant milestone for us: The combination of NODE’s great software and a powerful fleet management solution like our SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform unlocks entirely new possibilities for flexibility and customized process control in intralogistics,” says Dr. Philipp Schäfers, Head of Partner Management & Business Development at SYNAOS. “The onboarding of the Sherpa robot was just the starting point for all future onboardings of other mobile robot types that rely on NODE.move as their proprietary navigation software. Additional onboardings of robots with NODE software are already underway and planned—and will gradually be listed in our Mobile Robot Finder,” Schäfers adds.

NODE Robotics also sees the partnership as an important step for the industry’s future development: “Our navigation solution, NODE.move, is a key component of our NODE.OS software platform, designed for maximum flexibility across diverse applications. It seamlessly supports various robot types, hardware components, peripheral devices, and software systems, ensuring broad compatibility and efficiency”, says Dr. Stefan Dörr-Laukien, CEO & Co-Founder of NODE Robotics. “A growing requirement is the integration of vendor-independent fleet managers and intralogistics platforms, such as the SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform. With a dedicated software adapter, this integration is now standard in NODE.OS, providing our customers with an out-of-the-box solution.”

With this new partnership, SYNAOS once again reinforces its open-platform approach: Companies can flexibly integrate and optimally control robots from different manufacturers and software solutions—ensuring future-proof, scalable automation.
