LANCOM Systems with new management: Ralf Koenzen moves to the Supervisory Board and hands over to Constantin von Reden and Robert Mallinson

Ralf Koenzen founded LANCOM Systems in 2002 with the aim of creating a European alternative on the network infrastructure market. Today, the company from Würselen, Germany is Europe’s leading manufacturer of professional network and security solutions and has been part of the Munich-based electronics group Rohde & Schwarz since 2018. LANCOM belongs to the Networks & Cybersecurity division, which Koenzen manages.

Ralf Koenzen made the decision to leave the Management Board at LANCOM Systems and to move to the LANCOM Supervisory Board as Chairman. In this role and as head of the Networks & Cybersecurity division, he will continue to support the company strategically and drive forward the development of synergies and market potential within the family of companies.

New management team

As of March 1, the management of LANCOM was taken up by Constantin von Reden and Robert Mallinson. Robert Mallinson has successfully been responsible for LANCOM’s overall sales activities since November 2023 and is a member of the Management Board. With his appointment as Co-Managing Director responsible for Sales, LANCOM can guarantee maximum continuity for its customers, partners, and employees. At the same time in his new role, the 45-year-old will lend additional weight to the company’s market and sales orientation.

As Managing Director, Constantin von Reden is from now on responsible for LANCOM’s corporate and portfolio strategy. He studied aerospace engineering and was most recently managing director of Frequentis Comsoft, a provider of safety-critical IT solutions for air traffic control organizations. Prior to that he held various management positions, most recently as head of the market segment Air Traffic Control & Air Defense at Rohde & Schwarz. With his experience, the 46-year old has excellent connections within the group and is predestined to further strengthen the role of LANCOM within the Rohde & Schwarz family.
