University offers new study program in Development Studies
What content will the students find? They will learn relevant theories that are necessary to critically reflect processes in the field of development cooperation. Practical skills are encouraged through courses such as project planning, monitoring and evaluation. Academic education in research methods and writing skills enable students to perfect their own existing skills. The invaluable side-effect of this form of study, resulting from the internationality and practical relevance of the students, lies in the opportunity to get to know and analyze international issues at first hand through virtual co-learning with students from all over the world.
The application period for this course of study began on August 1; it ends on January 31. For the first applicants who decide to begin their studies in March 2021, an introductory price of 999 Euros for the first two semesters applies. Friedensau Adventist University is a state-recognized university in sponsorship of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Here eight B.A.- and M.A.-courses of studies can be taken – partially occupation-accompanying – in the specialist areas Christian social welfare and Theology as well as a course ‚German as foreign language‘. About 30 nations are represented among the students and lecturers.
