Arvato Systems demonstrates cloud competence and cloud migration know-how

  • Arvato Systems passes extensive audit for Windows Server and SQL Server migration scenarios to Microsoft Azure
  • Know-how, capability and customer success in cloud migration scenarios proven once again

Arvato Systems has achieved another so-called "Advanced Specialization" after an audit by Microsoft. This certifies the IT specialist’s comprehensive know-how and the highest standards of service delivery and support for the migration of Windows Server- and SQL Server-based workloads to the Microsoft cloud.

Microsoft qualifies the members of its partner ecosystem worldwide according to very high standards. Thus, an "Advanced Specialization" stands as an international quality mark for customers and can only be obtained by partners with Gold status. With an "Advanced Specialization", Microsoft partners demonstrate their in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in a defined area and prove their success in implementing Microsoft services or solutions in an independent audit process.

The "Advanced Specialization" for Windows Server and SQL Server migrations to Microsoft Azure builds on the active Gold status of the Cloud Platform Competence. Arvato Systems was able to verify its extensive experience and proven success in the migration and optimization of Windows servers and SQL servers in the audit. Certified Arvato Systems employees, including Azure Administrators, Solution Architects and DevOps, Security and Data Engineers, contribute their validated skills to ensure that cloud migration projects are implemented efficiently and smoothly. The established DevOps culture of the IT specialist in combination with the high-quality validation and test processes was particularly emphasized.

"We are pleased that we have once again been able to demonstrate our cloud expertise with this ‚Advanced Specialization‘ in the Microsoft Azure context," says Mathias Lopass, Senior Manager Microsoft Solutions at Arvato Systems. "In this way we are showing our customers that we are a competent and highly qualified partner for cloud transformations.

With the "Advanced Specialization" for migration scenarios for Windows and SQL servers to Azure, Arvato Systems belongs to a small circle of particularly distinguished Microsoft solution providers and is further expanding its top position in the Microsoft partner ecosystem. In 2019, the company was one of the first Microsoft partners in Germany to achieve an ‚Advanced Specialization‘ for SAP on Microsoft Azure. "With the current further Advanced Specialization we have reached an important milestone. We are currently working on the specializations for Windows Virtual Desktop and Data Warehouse Migration. With this, we want to illustrate our extensive Microsoft portfolio even more visible and intensify and further expand our cooperation with Microsoft and new customers," says Lopass.
