The Innovation Network for Advanced Materials (INAM) Welcomes Infineon Technologies AG as Newest Industry Member
Infineon Technologies AG is a world leader in semiconductor solutions that make life easier, safer and greener. Microelectronics from Infineon are the key to a better future. In the 2020 fiscal year (ending 30 September), Infineon reported revenue of more than €8.5 billion with a workforce of some 46,700 people worldwide. Following the acquisition of the US company Cypress Semiconductor Corporation in April 2020, Infineon is now a global top 10 semiconductor company.
Semiconductor and system solutions from Infineon contribute to a better future – making our world easier, safer and greener. These tiny, barely visible electronic components have become an indispensable part of our daily lives. They help to feed regenerative energy into power grids with almost zero losses, tame power-hungry computers, safeguard the data flying through cyberspace and make our cars more energy-efficient.

Infineon’s membership brings INAM’s total number of network members at the end of 2020 to sixty-two. These consist of industry, SME, investor, research and startup members. All of which are looking to collaborate for the sake of Advanced Materials innovation.
