Subsidiary BMZ China Ltd. achieves new milestone with IATF16949 automotive certification

Strong teamwork leads to final certification process

Under the leadership and supervision of the Ouality Director of BMZ China Ltd, Mr. Afshin Beig, since the start of the certification process in 2019, his team succeeded in continuously analyzing the internal processes and quality characteristics of all departments involved, locating and working out potential improvements, which ultimately led to the final award on automotive standards requirements. The IATF 16949 standard (IATF = International Automotive Task Force) combines existing general requirements for quality management systems in the (mostly North American and European) automotive industry. They were jointly developed by IATF members and published based on EN ISO 9001. This certification of the system and process procedures opens up an even broader, direct access to the OEMs of the automotive tier 1 suppliers as well as the potential to supply automotive manufacturers with batteries as series parts in the future.

Continuous expansion of BMZ core products

Founder and CEO of BMZ Group, Sven Bauer says: "This automotive division will also be constantly expanded after all other markets such as Energy Storage, E-Bike and Powertool, Gardentool as well as Medical Technology. We are specializing each unit of BMZ on the core products with their approvals. The future is multi-layered with all batteries and we are adjusting to these markets.”
