Nickel and cobalt are among the raw materials of the future
The term New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) is used by the Chinese government to refer to electric vehicles eligible for public subsidies and includes battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). As of November, NEVs now accounted for 20.8 percent of the total passenger car market in China. Especially since May, registration numbers have been steadily increasing. In the U.S., electric bikes are one of the ways people are trying to combat climate change. The Build Back Better bill, for example, can save up to 900 US dollars on the purchase of an e-bike. A fully refundable tax credit of 30 percent sweetens the purchase of certain e-bikes for Americans. And that’s how the low-carbon transportation option can replace some car trips.
This progress in terms of e-mobility succeeds with battery raw materials. Mawson Gold and the Canada Nickel Company, for example, have these in their projects.
Mawson Gold – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pi1uEfDSBcA – has the sought-after cobalt and gold in its Rajapalot project in Finland. In addition, there are gold projects and holdings in the company’s portfolio.
Canada Nickel Company’s – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sn34_eaHC3E – flagship project is the Crawford Nickel-Cobalt Project in Ontario.
