New Head of Quality

„After ten years, I am very happy to be back at TOPTICA eagleyard and look forward to further optimize the high quality standards especially for the new, highly integrated and technically complex products as Head of Quality.” says Sascha about his return to the company. He already worked successfully for TOPTICA eagleyard from 2006 until 2011 as Quality Manager with a special focus on the Gaia mission (ESA project) and thereby created the basis for all following industry projects.

Sascha looks back on a long history of experiences in quality management and quality assurance. He studied communication engineering with a specialization in high frequency and measurement technology and started his career as Reliability Engineer at Finisar Corporation where he was responsible for the development of the quality management from 2000 until 2006.

After more than ten years as Manager Quality Assurance at MELAG Medizintechnik, a renowned medical technology company, Sascha returns to TOPTICA eagleyard and will use his expertise from the regulated markets of that industry for his new field of responsibility. As independent consultant he worked with TOPTICA eagleyard for various qualification activities in the last year so that his start as new Head of Quality was the next “subsequent step” that also makes the CEO, Claus Heitmann very happy: “With Sascha we won a highly qualified manager who will support us tremendously to market the next generation of highly integrated  products. His start happens at an ideal timing so that we can benefit from his expertise in space programs for our current space projects.”
