Airbus and Nemergent successfully integrated, in July 2022, their respective secure Mission Critical Services (MCX) with *5G Quality of Service (QoS) modification and control mechanisms, in the 5G testbed of the University of Malaga powered by Athonet’s 5G mobile core network. This successful experiment – a world first in mission-critical communications – was carried out as part of the 5G-EPICENTRE European funded project. Airbus signs Agnet 800 MC-PTT contract with Virve 2.0 programme to support migration to broadband Virve services
Airbus and Erillisverkot Group in Finland, Operator company of Virve public safety network, have signed an agreement to provide Tactilon Agnet 800 mission critical voice and messaging services for the Virve migration period from current TETRA technology to broadband services. In the frame of the agreement, Airbus will provide a four-year SaaS-service for the broadband Virve Push-to-talk solution. Airbus secured this years’ Hajj holy pilgrimage in Mecca with its mission-critical communication technologies in Saudi Arabia.
