Farasis Energy validates sustainable Direct Recycling process for lithium-ion batteries
For more than 10 years, Farasis Energy has been a pioneer in the research and development of a Direct Recycling process for used lithium-ion batteries. The recycling method enables direct recovery and reuse of valuable materials – notably the cathode powder – from these batteries and from cell manufacturing scrap. In particular, directly recovering the active cathode material powder retains the high value of the original engineered cathode material – one of the most expensive components in cell production – without the need for re-synthesis.
