Oxygen approval for GEMÜ butterfly valves
A special version of the GEMÜ R480 Victoria butterfly valve series from Ingelfingen-based valve specialist GEMÜ is approved with immediate effect for the medium of oxygen. In the design for the medium of oxygen, all media wetted seal materials and auxiliary materials (lubricants and screw locking agents) from the Victoria butterfly valve series have been tested and approved by the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). Unsuitable oils and greases can lead to the development of fires, which is why all media wetted components must be cleaned accordingly. Sauerstoffzulassung für GEMÜ Absperrklappen
Die Absperrklappen-Baureihe GEMÜ R480 Victoria des ingelfinger Ventilspezialisten GEMÜ ist ab sofort für das Medium Sauerstoff in einer Sonderausführung zugelassen. Bei der Ausführung für das Medium Sauerstoff sind alle medienberührten Dichtwerkstoffe und Hilfsstoffe (Schmierstoffe und Schraubensicherung) der Absperrklappen-Baureihe Victoria von der Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) geprüft und zugelassen worden. Durch ungeeignete Öle und Fette kann es zur Entstehung von Bränden kommen, daher müssen alle medienberührten Bauteile entsprechend gereinigt sein. Die Prüfung für die Zulassung BAM erfolgte in Anlehnung an die DIN EN 1797 und ISO 21010 Norm.
