HARTING at InnoTrans 2022: Han® HPR Single Poles
With its Han® HPR VarioShell, HARTING has developed a particularly flexible solution for jumper cable connections in rail vehicles. The housing forms an open system that can accommodate power connectors as well as other media. As the perfect complement, HARTING is launching the Han® HPR Single Poles which can transmit power up to 650 A / 4 kV AC/DC with its proven HC contacts. HARTING at InnoTrans 2022: Han® HPR Compact
Han® HPR is a standard for connectors in need of special protection from the elements such as encountered on rail vehicles. HARTING has developed the Han® HPR Compact to make this series suitable also for applications in tight spaces. By comparison with traditional products, this solution offers a space saving of 20% – and is 25% lighter. One special feature: With the aid of extenders, they can grow in line with their roles, thereby offering greater flexibility within a smaller space. HARTING at InnoTrans 2022: Han-Modular® Domino Modules
With its Han-Modular® Domino modules, HARTING is taking modular connectors to the next level. The Domino system reduces the total number of interfaces required. The reason is that the connection technology is smaller and lighter – compared with interfaces with Han-Modular®. More module elements can fit into one connector than previously possible. For example, four different modular interfaces can now fit into a standard 6 B housing instead of the previous two. In the same way as a domino is divided into two separate fields, a Domino module consists of two elements, called “cubes”, which are half the size of traditional Han-Modular® modules. Han® HPR ist ein Standard für Steckverbinder, die einen besonderen Schutz brauchen gegen Umwelteinflüsse, wie sie an Schienenfahrzeugen auftreten. Um die Baureihe auch für Applikationen auf begrenztem Bauraum fit zu machen, hat HARTING den Han® HPR Compact entwickelt. Die Lösung spart im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Produkten 20% Bauraum ein – und ist 25% leichter. HARTING auf der InnoTrans 2022: Han-Modular® Domino Module
HARTING bringt mit den Han-Modular® Domino Modulen die nächste Ausbaustufe modularer Steckverbinder auf den Markt. Das Domino System reduziert die Zahl insgesamt erforderlicher Schnittstellen. Das liegt daran, dass die Verbindungstechnik – im Vergleich zu Schnittstellen mit Han-Modular® – kleiner und leichter ist. Es passen mehr Modulbausteine als bisher in einen Steckverbinder. In ein Gehäuse der Standard-Baugröße 6 B passen nun z.B. vier, statt bisher zwei unterschiedliche modulare Schnittstellen. So wie ein Dominostein in zwei separate Felder geteilt ist, setzt sich ein Domino Modul aus zwei Bausteinen zusammen, die „Cube“ heißen und halb so groß sind wie die klassischen Han-Modular® Module.
