Hasselblad Award winner Dayanita Singh honoured at ceremony
2022 Hasselblad Award winner, New Delhi-born photographer and bookmaker Dayanita Singh, was honoured 14 October at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and Gothia Towers in Gothenburg, Sweden. Considered the Nobel Prize in photography, this year’s prize included the sum of SEK 2,000,000, a gold medal, and a diploma. In partnership with the Hasselblad Foundation, the Hasselblad company presented Singh two digital cameras, the newly released X2D 100C, and a 907X 50C, along with an XCD 55V lens. Hasselblad Masters 2021 winners announced
After completion of the voting process by the Public Jury and Grand Jury, Hasselblad is pleased to announce the 12 winners of the Hasselblad Masters 2021 competition. Each Hasselblad Masters winner obtains the title of “Hasselblad Master,” and receives a new medium format mirrorless Hasselblad camera to keep. Additionally, the winners will shoot for a collaborative project with their new Hasselblad camera. This project is then published on all Hasselblad channels and in a high-quality commemorative Hasselblad Masters book, which contains a special feature on each of the 12 winners along with a selection of images that were taken by them using the Hasselblad camera they won. Hasselblad Masters 2021 Finalists Selected, Open for Public and Grand Jury Votes
Renowned as one of the most prestigious professional photographic awards, Hasselblad Masters 2021 now opens its voting for the Hasselblad Public Jury and the Hasselblad Grand Jury phase of the competition. This year’s Hasselblad Masters is larger than previous years and has expanded to 12 categories, including the newest one, Heritage, which commemorates Hasselblad’s 80-year anniversary. The 2021 competition received a record-breaking number of over 63,000 submitted images, double the amount of uploaded images compared to 2018. Hasselblad Firmware 1.4.0 brings Distance Scale and Enhanced Interval Timer
Hasselblad’s latest Firmware Update 1.4.0 adds new functionality for an enhanced shooting experience with the X1D II 50C, 907X Special Edition and 907X 50C cameras. A Distance Scale overlay has been added to Live View, Interval Timer has upgraded options for exposure metering and frame selection, and Phocus Mobile 2 functionality has been updated, in addition to general system improvements.
