HMF forscht im Projekt TETRA++ zur Erweiterung von TETRA durch Breitbandnetze der neuen Generation
Mit der Übergabe des Zuwendungsbescheids hat es HMF Smart Solutions jetzt Schwarz auf Weiß: Das Forschungsprojekt „Erweiterung von TETRA durch Breitbandnetze der neuen Generation (TETRA++)“ ist gestartet und wird vom Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr mit insgesamt 1,44 Millionen Euro gefördert. HMF ist Teil der Forschungsgruppe, die in den nächsten 15 Monaten in zwei realen Versuchsfeldern unter anderem die Interoperabilität, Verfügbarkeit und Skalierbarkeit von einsatzkritischer Kommunikation über 5G in der Praxis erproben wird. COBRA-5G: HMF leads research project on protecting 5G campus networks from cyber attacks
How can 5G campus networks be better protected against cyber attacks and unforeseen incidents? This is the question HMF Smart Solutions, as consortium leader, is investigating together with four partners in the new “COBRA-5G – Container-based resilient architecture for 5G campus networks” research project. Wie können 5G-Campusnetze besser vor Cyberangriffen und unvorhergesehenen Störfällen geschützt werden? Dieser Frage geht HMF Smart Solutions als Konsortialführer gemeinsam mit vier Partnern im neuen Forschungsprojekt „COBRA-5G – Container-basierte resiliente Architektur für 5G-Campusnetze“ nach. Das Forschungsprojekt wird im Programm „Cyber-Sicherheit und digitale Souveränität in den Kommunikationstechnologien 5G/6G“ vom Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnologie (BSI) gefördert und ist auf 18 Monate ausgelegt.
